Hello.

I have been puzzelled by this for several days now... so any help would be much appreciated.

I have an excel spreadsheet with data in that I wish to sort. However the top row contains the headings for the cells.

I would like to be able to select all the cells with data on the sheet except the top row.

This would then allow me to use the sort ascending command to sort the data. (not including the top row of headings)

I hope my question is clear,

Regards, Chris.

Highlight area you wish to sort including the headings and go to Data (Top bar), then sort.

At the bottom of the box that comes up you will see My list has.....

Select Header Row

Stupid question really....

But thanks for your help!

Not stupid at all, far better to ask than to struggle!

Glad it worked
