I am pretty sure this may not be possible. Customer has 9.1 Essential with 6 analog lines. They have asked if I could set up a key that dials a number BUT, it has to pick line one. They for some reason want to keep their third party voicemail and to retrieve message you must dial *98 from line only. I made a appearance button for line 1 and have them press it then dial *98 and it works but they asked if it could be a one touch operation.

You can put Line 1 in a different Outgoing Line group, make a short code *98/Dial*98? line 1's outgoing group.

sorry, fatfingered
*98/Dial/*98/ line 1's outgoing group

Also, if worried about taking away a line 1 from being able to be dialed out on from the ARS, put it in its own ARS table. Program your primary ARS tables Alternate route time to off, Alternate route Line 1 ARS table, then it will hit line 1 if primary ARS is busy. Those fields are found at the bottom of the ARS programming.

Didn't think about the ARS table. Thanks.
