Hi, I'm a total newb to Norstar phone systems. We are trying to add a 3rd line to our system. I've punched it into my block and the new line was working but I was playing with the settings trying to get call cascading working and i must have touched something. Now when I select line 3 from any of my phones (except one) I get a Forward to: on the display and dont for the life of me know how to get the line working again. I've tried setting the line 003 to public and poolA which is the pool my other 2 lines use. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

go to the user settings, go to line access and add line 3, make it ring and appear, you can always do a feature *0 (button inquiry) press that button and it will tell you what is programmed against it.

xriddle, confused after I replied, did line 3 get removed from all phones, it so go to lines and add it, make it supervised and add to pool a etc....

Ok so if i do Feature * 0 and hit line 3 on my phone I get "FORWARD". I get this on all phones except 1 phone. I'm sure i must have done something. Where can I check if it was deleted? If i go in Line Access it asks me "Show Set" what do I enter here ... 21? 23?

Perfect that worked ... I must have deleted the line. I added it to each set. Is there a way to add it to every set globally.
 
no only line 1 and line 2 are added automatically, if goes fast enough once you get used to the navigating.

You can use the copy feature.

Thanks again .. to all ... I added the line and I can use it to call out but when I call the line from the outside the Automated Attendant doesn't answer, line just goes dead ... Does this need to be configured in addition to adding the line?
 
Tip- Get some training or call a technician, the questions that your asking are really basic which any Norstar technician should know. This forum is to help other skilled techs not to train end users.
