Selecting 9 phone to H/Free automatically

Hi, have a customer who wants to be able to press the 9 button and the phone will automatically go handsfree/speaker, anyone know how to programm a 400 to do this?

For the DN, under User Preferences, change the "Dialing options" setting to "Automatic Dial"

Nah, didnt work, are there any pre-requsites that I should check first

As far as I know the Automatic Dial is all that you need. I tested it here at our shop.

what sort of phone?

If you dial feature 82 on the telephone you want the feature on and select automatic dial.

You will need to ensure you have set the handsfree to auto if you want to talk.

if you can pick up you handset and dial 9 it will work with autodial. you may have to set 9 in access codes to get a line.
