Hello

I am running Crystal XI on Oracle Database.

I have a field in my Database called "Work_Log". Each record has a number of "Work_log" Entries I would like to run a formula where only the latest "Work_Log" entry is displayed in my report.

The date field is "Submit_Date"

If anyone can help me with such a formula that would be greatly appreciated

Many Thanks

David

Try to group the report by Maximum(Submit_Date), move the detail to group header and hide the detail section.

I may not have been clear - my apologies. I have a number of records which all contain a SUBMIT DATE Field.

I want to display only the record with the latest SUBMIT DATE

How can I do this

Thanks

David

I'm sure you mean to group on something (whatever field you want to show the most recent date for), so insert the group, and then go to report->selection formula->GROUP and enter:

{table.submitdate} = maximum({table.submitdate},{table.groupfield})
