Hi There,

I'm executing a stored procedure sp_depends 'param' and it sometimes returns 1 sometimes 2 result sets. Is there a way to specify which result set it returns?

Chuckster.

Please post your code as it is not possible to answer this query without seeing what you are trying to do.

You can easily see the sql code for the sp_depends stored procedure by running
Code:
sp_helptext sp_depends
in the master database. You can create your own usp_depends procedure by starting with this code and adding the desired parameter and functionality. Need a hand?

thanks. its a long story but i was trying to create a generic depency check of access adps and related sql servers from a vbscript but it didn't support multiple recordsets. i ended up querying the schema instead.

thanks again.
