Select Expert for Group

Is there a way to use the select expert to exclude a group if one detail element is "x".

Sample

MyGroup
record1 name1 address1 x
record2 name2 address2 p
record3 name3 address3 q

I want to suppress all three detail records in this group because of the presence of "x" in one of the records.

Hi dunkyn...

Yes there is...

In the design view, right click the group header of the record you want to suppress and click "Format Section"...

Where it says "Suppress (No Drill Down)", click the "X-2" button and write the following formula:

{Whatever the name of that "x" field is} is like "x"

This will suppress the group name where "x" shows up. You also want to write the same formula for the details, so the details associated with that group are suppressed as well.
