select binary or ascii

Does anyone know how DW3 knows, especially when uploading forms, how to set to ascii or binary. In ftp cute you can select how to upload, do DW3 users have this option. Or does DW3 automatically know when a form is being uploaded?

I may be wrong but I believe it is automatic in Dreamweaver. I have uploaded many php files which are definitely ascii together with image files which are binary. Everything works great after upload so I assume it is automatic. Ya' Gotta Love It!:)X-)

Thanks Jeff I can only assume you are right. If you can confirm your theory by Macromedia post it for all to see. I will also try to do the same on my end. I will post this question to Macromedia today but their replys take so long, so DW3 users be patient.
