Select all using combo box - 'Like * & ComboBox' 1

Hows it going

I have 3 combos which are each used as criteria in a query.
I want to be able to leave 1 or more boxes empty so that the criteria will be to select all of that field.
I've tried <- like * & [forms]![frmForm]![Combo] -> but its drawing a blank. The * keeps getting quotes automatically around it like its being seen as text.

Any Ideas?
