Seized digital ext's after upgrd to 4.1

Hello all, i have an ip 406v2, 4.1(9) equipped with 2- 4 line cards, ds30 v1 rel. 6.0(7). It seems like after the upgrade to 4.1 I have had digital stations 215,214,213 all 4406 telesets, randomly go off hook ad display both the red & green light. If i look in system status, it,they show up as seized call length and time in state show the same time counting up to 30 seconds, then the timer resets to 0 and the call ref counter advances by 1,then this repeats...all day unless you go and physically pick the handset up and then hang back up.

Whats wrong??

Your post is unclear. You say DS are running 6.0 7.
Is this correct. If so Upgrade them to the right version also.

The ds 30 firmware is at 6.1(9) the software is 4.1(9). I did just upgrade anyways , however it shows it at 4.1(9) with 4.1(9) avail.

I call station 213 (4406) ring , ring, ring i hang up. System status then shows:
call ref call timer originator,calledprty current state
11 00:00:04 Extn 213, Douglas Grady Seized

time in state.
00:00:04

every 30 second the call timers and call in state timer resets to 0 and increases the call ref by 1.
 
When the DS unit was upgraded to 4.0.7 was the intermediate build (3.2.999)?


I'd suggest downgrading to 3.2.999 and re-upgrading to 4.1.9.

open mgr.
change \workng dir
set to C:\Program Files\Avaya\IP Office\Manager\V3_2_999
(two files are here:ip401ng.bin and nadcpv2.bin)
choose File/advance/upgrade
wizard starts
shows only ip 406 (not selectable.)

duh
What am i doing wrong??

That upgrade is only for DS V2 modules. Not sure what your issue is but V1 mods dont need that.
