I installed a computer and printer on to the network, the printer is shared, I cannot see the computer on any other computers, ((computer is working e-mail etc. everything on the network is working) but I can see it on the Server, any idea what I can check. THe workstation is Windows 95 and the server is Windows NT.
Thanks for the help

How have you shared it?

You need to do two things. In the network properties/configuration on the worksation make sure that you have allowed file and print sharing, and then set the share on the drives (right click the drive through explorer, and choose sharing) and the printer (right click the printer icon in 'printers').

I did the file and print sharing as well as I shared the printer, on the server where I can see the computer I can see the printer, but not on any workstation.
Any other suggestions??
Thanks again

Is the computer on the same workgroup as the rest of the clients, I don't mean is it logged onto the domain, is the Network Properties> Identification> Workgroup the same?

Yes the workgroup is the same, I tripled checked everything I could think of, still same problem.

Sorry to ask obvious questions, what network protocols are you running. Are they the same on all the workstations. Are the subnet settings correct under the TCP/IP bound to the network cards.
