I have a employee that wanted his phone forward to his cell phone when no answer. What I did was change CFO to CFF and allowed cfxa, then changed the CFNA to his cell number instead of voice-mail. Is this safe as far as security or any possibility of hacking? I read some threads but could not find specific answer.

no you turned on hacking allow with those two prompts.. the problem it causes is your cfw 4 key can now be forwarded to 9.. i have the same thing setup here 196 times.. i prt the tnb once a month, if any one is forwarded to a bad dn.. i remove the cfxa.. i've removed 30 plus during the last year and have not gotten a complaint.. but here with 7000 plus stations, and 3 full time techs, copy was abused for a decade before i started cleaning the switch up..

just make sure how many cfxa'a you have turned on and those people need to be trusted... trust but verify.. if you just print the cfxa tn's from time to time you will see the forward target.. and you can see if forward is active in 80 trac x x x x...

Anytime you open up a station with CFXA you expose yourself to the possiblity of Toll Fraud. In this case however you have done what you could, given the circumstances, to limit your exposure.
