Hello

Our company wants to show our website on an exposition. For this, we (it-dep) would like to set up a computer with internet explorer. Is it possible to give a user such restrictions that he only can access internet explorer, nothing else (no other program's that could harm the computer)?

thanx

You can set all that up in the user profile but in addition, I would set up 1 computer with nothing else on it. I would also create an image of the c: and put it on another partition and then protect that partition with the correct permissions.

The bottom line will be....

You can protect it pretty well with the user profile but chance are someone will try and get around that. Having the image on a partition that they can't get to gives you the ability to quickly reload everything so you can continue on.
