I have setup terminal services but don't know what security settings are necessary for clients to log in. Basically, if I assign a login to admin group it works fine but domain users doesn't work eventhough I have the security profile set to allow terminal services for that user. Any ideas? Does this make sense? X-)

Goto administrative tools, then to Terminal Services Configuration. In the connections folder, Right click RDP-tcp and choose properties. Goto the permissions tab and add who you want to have access.

Is this on a Domain Controller? Yoou should not have to add any users to access TS unless your TS is a DC as well. If it is a DC then you have to give Terminal Server Users (It is a group that is installed with TS on a DC) rights to log on locally. To do that check out this article on Q247989
