Security of Perl code

If you look at my page

http://www.surfacinginstructions.co.uk/cgi-bin/Secret.pl?Name=Aardvark

It will say 'Hello Aardvark'

If you put a space before the ? and try

http://www.surfacinginstructions.co.uk/cgi-bin/Secret.pl ?Name=Aardvark

then it lists my code!

I have more complicated code including password encryption algorithms which I would not like people to be able to read. How do I stop them?

What HTTP server are you using? It sounds like a configuration option, where instead of calling your code, it's serving it up as if it was a web page...
