Question is the built in passwords for the SMS accounts that it makes secure? Can they be changed? Anyone know anything about these accounts? A person was let go that used this a lot and I need to make sure that these accounts can not be used by this person. If the default accounts are set by SMS and are not known then that is fine.

Thanks for your help.

Well, there are accounts created automatically by SMS on the clients (\SMSCliSvc& and others) with a Password only known by SMS.
And then there is the SMS-ServiceAccount - the one specified by the installation of the primary SMS-Server (DomainName\ServiceSMS). This account is used to start all server-related serices on all SMS-Servers.
You can change this password - I also think I found an articel explaining HOW to do this.....something like stopping all SMS-services, change the password via UserManager, point all services to the new password and restart them again....gotto go searching for that
