Recently I got a machine without root password. And I reset the password by booting from cdrom (got the idea from the forum). Now I have a question:

Is solaris unsecure? Because it looks anyone can use a solaris CD and reset the root password.

Do you have any idea about it?

Thanks

Thats why servers are stored in datacenter.

Anyway, if you can reboot a computer (Solaris, Linux...), you can have an access to it's filesystem (if it's not encrypted). There is no real solutions against physical attack :)
