I have just completed installing the following on Solaris 9:
Sun ONE Directory Server
ObjectStore
PPES 7.1 MR2
IWR 7.1 MR2

When hitting the

http://servername/cognos/cgi-bin/upfcgi.exe

link, I receive the error message above.

Has anybody else had this experience? I have configured Cognos Application Firewall to False with a successful Apply.

Any help will be appreciated.

You will have to restart all the Cognos products before the firewall application will be disabled.

Thank you, but I have stopped and restarted PPES and IWR.

Just thought that I'd check. Open the afconfig.ini file located in the CAF directory, what is the value for 'firewall enabled'? Also, is this a distributed install or all Cognos components on one server?

I have also checked afconfig.ini - it does say firewall disabled. I even recreated the file in case of corruption.

This is a single install.
