I just installed a new IPO SE. When accessing the One X Portal a security certificate error populates. The customer wants this fix. I don't know to much about certificates. IT has a security certificate server. The options that are in documentation to import a certificate are not an option on his server, p12 format. Has anyone been able to import a certificate on the server or is there another option. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. Sam

During the Ignition process for SE there is a choice to import (not the one you want) or to generate a certificate automatically
That is the option to choose and you then can download the self signed Avaya IP Office certificate. Then it must be installed into each web browser the customer may use.
I have attached a document that should help you

Unless you really really need it you can turn on good old HTTP port 80 access in the one-X Portal administrator settings and then just use the application without worrying about certificates like everyone did until now.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Slamminhammo - One more question. Since this is already installed and Ignition process has been completed, is it as simple and just regenerating a certificate and imported into your browser?

no need to generate a new one
log on to the web administrator page for the server (port 7071)
export the current key from there & then import it

You can do it with application server (if you want you can carry one as virtual machine on your laptop) or any other third party CA like, the one Microsoft delivers with it's servers.
