Security bypassing

I have a database that I have to work on, and I copied it from the server to my computer, so whatever edit's I make don't matter until I apply the changes. Anyway, my problem right now is that the sysadmin of the company put a bunch of security on some important forms and queries that I need access to. He's gone for a few days and I was wondering if there is a way to disable or change the security of the database.<br>Thanks
