I am running a Checkpoint 4.1 sp5 with secure remote. On Windows XP, I receive an error stating the IP Forwarding is active on your machine. Your machine has been tagged as Insecurely Configured. Please disable IP Forwarding. None of my network or dialup connections have this configured neither is internet connection sharing enabled...however it was at one stage but i turned it off again and ever since i have had this issue. I also then tried to turn IPRouter on and off in the registry as a whole for all network adapters but this has not solved the problem either...HELP!!

Thanks

Farawak

Check your Registry settings for IP Forwarding (it has to be done manualy in XP and 2000)

Set this key to one to enable routing, or zero to disable (disabled is the default):
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\IPEnableRouter

Hi and thanks...but as stated in the original post i have done this...sorry i did not give the actual proper registry value name. HELP!!
