Hi,
I am looking at Secure client myself. Secure client allows you to load a secirity policy to the client and that then acts like a personal firewall. The Firewall settings are active even when the client is not connected via the VPN. Secure remote only provides the ability to create a VPN tunnel. It does not provide any security to the system that it runs on. This information was given to me at a seminar where I was able to talk to a developer who had given a presentation on the Secure* vpn product.
