Secure Shell Login Macro

Has anyone figured out a way to create a login macro that works for secure shell? I tried many different ways and non of them worked. I am using Reflection for UNIX and OpenVMS 14.0.661 SP5. I am willing to use a newer version, if that will make this easier. I have a rather large macro that I need to schedule to run multiple times a day, but I can't get past the login part. The rest of the macro is running fine.

I've been looking into that too, but unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any way to programmatically provide a password for ssh. I think ssh is inherently designed to only accept a password interactively. The only thing you can set in the Reflection session file is the username, you can do that when you are setting up the ssh connection.

I'm thinking of asking our Unix admin to open up Telnet for Unix nodes that currently have ssh only. If you have Telnet then you can enter the userid and password in a macro. Telnet is less secure, obviously, but if you have the right safeguards then the risk can be mitigated. For example, you can set up Telnet to only accept connections from certain IP addresses. And you should only operate Telnet within a secure internal corporate network, never through the Internet.

mkohut thanks for your reply. My place of employment used to allow telnet for internal traffic over our secure internal network, but lately they have changed the policy. If, at some point, I find a workaround I will post it here to help you out.
