Hi all

Has anybody experienced this issue.

We have a Mitel 3300 running 9.0, with SRC 2.2. When the calls are passed through to the sets, there is a delay at the beginning of the call, which can be up to 30 seconds, of no audio.
if we put the call on hold and retrieve it, then there is a speech path immediately.

Any help please....

Are any of the ports being blocked?
putting the call on hold and then retrieving it will create a new port to be opened, there are also a few settings in the application settings check the advanced menu for more options

I have seen this issue related to headsets that are not connected properly. Are headsets in use? If so, they probably need to be connected to the HANDset jack instead of the headset jack.

Thanks guys.

This site did not originally have an SRC server and ran fine for a year or so. It's only since SRC went in that we get the problem with delay. It's intermittent as well.

SRC, 3300 and Phones all on the voice vlan.

Early release 9 on the 3300, and 2.2 on the SRC.

I have just upgraded the firmware on the 3300 to 2.1.0.34 for the 5312/5324 sets hoping this may make a difference but not confident.

Here's a question. Does the SRC include a TFTP Server like the Teleworker, or is it just a proxy to the 3300?

Thanks all..

No it DOES include a TFTP server. You need to set the options in your DHCP for Call control and TFTP tto SRC. If you're doing it teleworker syle on a few phones, i.e. rebooting and holding down 7, that puts it in both

It#s all in the docs

I stand corrected you can set it up this way for a limited number of phones. I was thinking that using the SRC for all devices is normally done via the 3300.

Cheers gents.

I will look at how DHCP is set. I am sure it is 125 and both the call server and tftp server are set to the src address. I will double check though...
