Secure Client connect problem

Hi I am new working with CP NG feature pack 3. I am trying to set up a secure client to my gate way. I have installed the secure client software on the remote machine and it communicates with the checkpoint firewall but it asks for a user name and password to log on. I have set up a user in the checkpoint software itself on the network but when I try and use this username and password to connect it tells me incorrect username and password..

Am I using the wrong username and password if so which one should I use?

Have you set the user/ pass within the Encryption IKE tab ?

It uses the pre-shared secret to authenticate the user. you should leave the authentication as undefined.
