when i go to my website my Domain provider has me routed to an IP adress istead of the name registered on my VERISIGN certificate... Thus i get a pop up security warning. My domain provider says i need a secondary ip for the server. to make it a name server. I got that...but do i have to set it up on my Router or does the domain provider do it..... If its a configuration on the CISCO ROUTER please advise.
Thanks in advance

Scott

Find a new ISP they are idiots
my assumption is your running your own webserver on one ip address at your facility. If this correct then
the name on your certificate is something like secure.yourdomain.com your website is one ip address for both is fine just tell them to put secure.yourdomain in the cname for if you have your own webserver running then
is the same as set the ability to use SSL on your server and your done.

SSL has nothing to do with IP's or Name Servers, if my assumption is incorrect describe your hosting situation (This is what i do) so I'm pretty sure I can help
