I have a Cisco router 2811. I need to add a secondary IP to my internal interface, in which I did successfully. Do I need to append or modify my ACL to accomodate my secondary IP or will my existing ACL's in my router understand this and treat it as it does with my primary internal interface ip?

You will have to append your current ACl to account for the secondary ip. You will also need to do the same for any static nat commands you would like to use for new subnet,

CCNA, CCNP, Sec+

thats hard to answer...what does your current acl look like?
