Is it not possible to use Secondary DNS while AD integrated?

I have a primary zone which is replicated by AD on 2 servers.
But when the primary server fails i have no DNS service available!!

And when i would use Secondary DNS i cannot use secure dynamic dns updates!!

What are the other benefits when DNS is stored in AD ?

So what should i do, AD integrated or a Secondary ?

Yes, you can use a secondary dns server. You can use quite a few more if you want. How is your system configured? It should be your dns servers point to themselves first, then any external servers that you have access to. All clients should only point to your internal dns servers. Good luck.
