Second line busy tone 2

Hello Everyone ,, easy question.

I replace my CICS 7.0 by a BCM 50 system. I have 2 lines and 5 stations. I can use the fist and the second lines, but when i use the first line and someone try to call , the person always have a busy tone .

If i use the second line , the person can reach me on first line .

Why a busy tone when nobody use the second line ???

If this worked before you swapped systems, maybe you have the lines reversed. If it never did, your phone company needs to make line 1 and 2 into a hunt group (equivalency) so that when line 1 is busy line 2 rings. This not a system programming issue.

Yes call your main number when nobody is on the lines and see which line rings....if line 2 ring then indeed its reversed.
