Hi
I have my EXch2K3 set for one domain. I would like it to receive e-mails for a second domain.
I have created a new DB store for the new domain, I have added the SMTP address to the SMTP connector.
I have 5 people that would need an e-mail on the second domain Vs. 80 users on the first Domain.
It does not seem to work....
Did I miss anything???

Thanks for the help.

In order to accept deliver for a domain you need:

1. An external DNS MX [and host and PTR] record that points to your exchange server.

2. A recipient policy with an SMTP address for the domain [even if ther is no LDAP filter and it applies to no one]

3. The users that you wish to have receive mail sent to that domain need an smtp address for that domain.

It sounds like you've done #3 only.

Thanks for youe response.
Afew questions:
1- Its up to my ISP - so its already done.
2- What do you mean no LDAP filter applies??
3- I have just added an smtp adress to the users who will be receiving e-mails.
So they have e-mail addresses from both domains.
Is that o.k??
