Hey, I recently had 2 SEB's installed at my Option 11 sites and I can't get logged in. I have the password to them (SEB) but, I'm wondering if I'm entering it either too early or too late.

Anyone know how to login to their switch through these things?

I placed a call into my vendor that installed them but they seem to be taking their good old time.

26thPair...when you dial up the seb it answers you put
in your password it should bring up a menu you then choose
opt 7 then port 1 then you can login to the opt 11

Hmm... Well I have to question that I was given the right password then. Sounds like I may be stuck waiting on the vendor calling me back and verifing the password.

26thPair...when you put your paasword does it answer
if so what do you get....

26thPair....when the seb answers hit return a few times does
anything happen

You wont get a response from the SEB until you have entered the right PW

johnthephoneguy..i know that but if you do not logoff
the seb the right way it stays connected to the pbx until
it times out thats why i asked the question to make sure
it was not talking to the pbx....

I tried hitting the "enter" a couple of times and putting in the password. Also tried entering the password and then hitting the "enter" a couple of times still no change.

I wouldn't be suprised that I haven't locked the port by now.

26thPair.,..no you did not lock the port you just dont
have the correct password from your vendor

Well I guess it's the waiting game for now.

thanks strm

26th,
When you connect, the SEB will wait for the password. This is case sensitive password, so once you get it correct, you will see "transparent to port 1
