Searching for sound card model name and driver 2

Hello all.

I have a creative sound card with model no. CT 5803 but am not completely sure as to what model name this is, whether it is a SB pci 128 or what ever.

Anyone able to help?

I believe what you have is the Sound Blaster Audio PCI 128 with the ES1373 chipset.

Drivers should be easy to get form Creative.

Actually I just did a search at

http://www.google.com

for CT5803 and found a page that 'white boxes' the card ( they pack it with their name or some other hardware as an OEM bundle)

Just as an aside, sometimes cards are made "stripped-down" for big volume computer manufacturers and may not have all the features or upgradeability of the retail version. So you get the odd time when the drivers dont completely work as advertised. And you also get the case where, ie: searching Creatives' web site for CT5803 won't return a hit - cause they made it for somebody else, usually for a lower price than what they would sell it at themselves.

I'm sure their drivers will work just fine tho....
