Hello,

I'm trying to do a simple query by Street Name with the criteria of:

Like [Enter Street Name:] & "*"

This works great, however.... If I want to search for "University", it will not pull any addresses out because all of the addresses in the database have numbers in front of "University", therefore skipping those records. Is there a way to get Access to pull out records if that input text is included anywhere in the field?

I know I'm making this sound more than complex that it is...

Thank you again, this forum has definately saved me.

how about
Like "*" & [Enter Street Name:] & "*"

I tried that.... It didn't work, it didn't display any records... Any thoughts?

It just worked in a small query I tried. Here's how the WHERE clause looked in the SQL view of the query

WHERE (((Table2.dob) Like "*" & [Enter Street Name:] & "*"));
