Search Function

Dear All,

I am using Advanced Site Search Engine realease v1.70, which I downloaded from hotscripts.com and it is working brillaintly. However since my pages contist the name of the page and a querystring, for example

http://www.mysite.com/home.asp?mainid=1&subid=2,

it is only retreiving the first part

http://www.mysite.com/home.asp

and as so my content is not being displayed. Can you tell me how I can solve this problem and if there is any way round it?

Is it a text search engine? this will only give you the file name, if you have db's you can get the parameters for the rows and add to the filename

I have found this:-

For example, the following URL contains both "?" and "&," making it non-indexable:

http://www.planet-source-code.com/vb/scripts/ShowCode.asp?lngWId=3&txtCodeId=769

Below, it has been made search engine-friendly (all "?" and "&" and "=" characters replaced with alternate characters):

http://www.planet-source-code.com/xq/ASP/txtCodeId.769/lngWId.3/qx/vb/scripts/ShowCode.htm

How can I do it?
