Hi guys

I need to search for a style, then place text before style that with another style.

eg. look for a heading, and place text above that heading.

Regards

Take a look at the Style property of the Find object.

Hope This Helps, PH.

Im am new to this. Would you have a snippet that I will be able to look at.

I want to find a heading of a certain style, and place text above that heading that will be used as markers.

Regards

Thanks for the help

Hi jakesp,

This is not a Help Desk. Have you tried use the macro recorder and then looking at the code? As PH mentioned, there is a Style parameter to Find, so you can certainly look for a Style using Find. Then, once you have found whatever style, back up and input your text. This is pretty simple. Try recording a test.
