Does anyone know how to create a search field in a form. I'm trying create a combo box where it will search for a last name and pull all the information from this record into the form. I cannot figure out to get the other data to change.

More details please - summat basic like the application you are working in would help for starters. Oh yeh, and more detail about what you are doing as well....
"search for a last name and pull all the information from this record "
means nothing to anyone but you at the mo - search for a last name where, information to be pulled from where - how is the information linked ??

You should be able to create your combo box to pull the information you need, then open the form based on the value selected in the combo box.

A good way to do this is to create a command button with the wizard. Create the command button and select Open Form, then select the form to open. On the next screen select "Open the form and find specific records to display". Make the combo box value equal to the method you'd like to sort the records on the form you're opening.

Hope this helps!
