I am looking for a program that will allow me to search the SQL code for a list of user SQL queries and replace certain words or table references without having to do this by hand. Does anyone know of such a program?

Thanks,

Gerry Goldberg

Speed Ferret for the (pricey) commercial version. Search these fora for some possibly less exhaustive shareware. For do-it-youself fixer-uppers, check out the MsysObjects table for the name and location of all stored queries and the quseydef property ,SQL to be able to retrieve the SQL of all, which may then be manipulated via standard find/edit/replace procedures and re-saved back to theie origin.

Regardless of the above, make a full backup of the app and the data prior to manipulation. Also be aware that SOME programmers use this technique to dynamically alter queries to suit programming "NEEDS", and these will generally will elude the above suggestions.
