When launching applications through a CSG server users are meet with a dialog box saying:

"You have started Windows Explorer in your ICA seamless session. This will obscure your local explorer desktop. To re-enable this ICA seamless connection, please logoff and restart the seamless remote application".

This message only occurs when launching published desktops. Some of the desktops are published in specific screen resolutions, eg. 800*600, and some in full screen. However, the message occurs no matter how the desktop is published. The message never shows when launching a specific published application, eg. MS Word.

Any ideas??

How are you publishing the desktop? For instance I have seen cases where individuals publish explorer.exe and this generates the desktop. This setup can give you that error. The issue is a published application is not meant to launch the desktop. When explorer is run from a published application you get this warning.

I'm publishing it by choosing Desktop when creating the published desktop. I'm not choosing Application and then typing the location of explorer.exe.

So how then do you publish Explorer.exe as a published application without having the whole desktop open up?

Never mind, I found this solution on a different site. All I had to do was copy explorer.exe to another location and rename it to explore.exe and published that copy. worked great.
