Hi Guys, I've got a minor alarm from SDS and when checking it out in the SDS shared data updates form, I get this one record. I've checked it and retried it but it doesn't want to go away. The only thing thats left to do is delete the record. I would like to know if it is safe to do so and what does this mean and if not delete how would i get it off to get the alarm off?

Thanks
Chris

Have you been deleting data? Try doing a loc num on it and see if it's still on another switch?
Try adding it back in if it's been removed.

nope no deleting data, just did a reboot of the other controller...
That is the main number on the switchboard and when doing loc num it returns: The number refers to a Non Prime Attendant Group.

Will deleting that sds error have a negative effect on the system?

I would be tempted to do a sync 'push' of the hosted data services from the controller that you get the alarm on.

Sounds like an extenison in the remote directory number that is no longer on its primary controller.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

Would a sync push remove the alarm without damaging anything?

A sync will match up the forms with the one you're syncing from. If you're unsure export your forms before you sync.
Like Lou says, it could be related to a phone being moved/deleted from it's controller but is still being referenced in the RDN.

How do i go about syncing? what forms will it affect?
Shouldn't it sync automatically?

Network Elements Assignment
Tick the nodes you wish to sync with.
Click sync at the top.
Select the forms you wish to push.
Click OK.

The system will push changes on shared forms when they're made. Looks like something has gone wrong with yours.

Do yourself a favour though, backup first and take exports... I'm having a nightmare with syncs at the mo (I am between RDN checks for migration though so I've probably shanked the db along the way..)

Cool thanks bud, will give this a try next week.

Kind regards
Chris
