Anyone have any idea why I can recieve data but not send to my NT8D41 Quad serial data interface paddle board? I have tried DTE/DCE and different buad rates.
 
The DB9 on the IO panel that comes off the ribbon cable connected to the paddle board has a custom pinout. I've recently posted a complete pinout for this application, look through the last couple weeks of posts for complete end to end pinouts of a paddle board.
 
Thank you johnpoole, pronei and ghtrout. It was the way the paddleboard pinned out. Turns out that 6 on the paddleboard is the recv not 3 like it usually is. So 6 on board goes to 3 on dumb term.
