Hello All,

I need to change the scan order that RHL7.1 uses on boot. I have a DELL 2400 with an Adaptec 29160, a QLogic 2200 and a 2Si PERC Controller. Currently Linux scans the PERC controller LAST. This is not an issue if the fiber is disconnected. I get sda and sdb since the PERC controller has two drives. So I am booting off of sda. Once I connect the Qlogic to a fiber array, when the kernel loads, it scans the QLogic BEFORE the PERC and the fibre drives are sda, sdb, and sdc while the local drives go to sdd and sde. Obviuosly with this, the system will not boot. So I need a way to scan the PERC Controller first, the PCI slots second. Any ideas?

Thx.
