I have an SD card that looks corrupt in a remote system that I need to work with on site guy to replace. Would just like to confirm what I am planning is correct or if there is a better way. This is a Server Edition and the IP500v2 with the faulty SD is an expansion system running on 11.1.2.0, the rest of the solution is running on 11.1.3.2 so would want to also upgrade the system to match. I ask as I was struggling to find the process for a gateway that is happily working and is just showing "System not running System SD primary software" on System Status.
- install 11.1.3.2 manager on remote engineers PC
- Access the IP500v2 directly by its IP from manager and File/Save Configuration as
- Using PC SD Card reader insert the new Avaya Supplied SD card and Recreate SD card (guessing would not need to format a new Avaya supplied card)
- Shutdown the SD card on the gateway - File/Advanced/Memory Card Command/Shutdown
- Remove SD when LED is off
- still with the SD card out erase the config on the gateway - Erase configuration (default) with the manager
- wait 3 mins then insert the new SD card
- once system is up send the cfg saved in step 2
- check system is working and has got license from the WebLM running on the primary server
