scsi tape drive use with IDE hard drive can not boot

I am trying save money and using one of the scsi tape drive from a old machine and trying to install into a NT 4.0 systeim using IDE drive but set up all jumper according to the manufacturer but system looking for scsi hard drive to boot from.<br><br>How could I correct this.<br><br>Thanks for any inputs.<br><br>
 
1. Check the BIOS of the SCSI adapter and make sure it is not set to boot from the SCSI<br>2. Check the BIOS of your computer.&nbsp;&nbsp;Newer BIOSes can be set to boot from SCSI first.&nbsp;&nbsp;Disable it, set it to A,C (or C,A if you don't want the boot delay...)<br> <p>Peter Van Eeckhoutte<br><a href=mailto:peter.ve@itinera.be>peter.ve@itinera.be</a><br><a href= > </a><br>
