I am trying save money and using one of the scsi tape drive from a old machine and trying to install into a NT 4.0 systeim using IDE drive but set up all jumper according to the manufacturer but system looking for scsi hard drive to boot from.<br><br>How could I correct this.<br><br>Thanks for any inputs.<br><br>

scsi tape drive use with IDE hard drive can not boot

1. Check the BIOS of the SCSI adapter and make sure it is not set to boot from the SCSI<br>2. Check the BIOS of your computer. Newer BIOSes can be set to boot from SCSI first. Disable it, set it to A,C (or C,A if you don't want the boot delay...)<br> <p>Peter Van Eeckhoutte<br><a href=mailto
