This was a difficult question to find the correct forum to post in because of the situation.

Operating systems: Windows 2003 server standard
Device: Ricoh IS450S SCSI scanner

The Adaptec 2930 took with no problem, installed the twain drivers, but when I go through the Add Remove Scanner wizard only the LPT and COM options are given, that and the scanner software itself doesn't recognize the scanner.
I was able to add the scanner through the Add Remove hardware and it shows up in Device manager. So, it communicates through the SCSI card fine.

This was installed previously without problem on a XP workstaion. Following the same directions for the server doesn't work.

Any suggestions? And no, I don't know why it's getting installed on a 2003 server : ) (not mine)

TIA
