Hi,
From the ok prompt, whenever I boot, I get the following error:
/pci@1f,4000/scsi@3/sd@0,0 (sd0)
Error for Command: read(10) Error Level: Fatal
Requested Block: 8467048 Error Block: 8467086
Vendor: IBM Serial Number: 00391GF435
ASC: 0x11 (unrecovered read error), ASCQ: 0x0 FRU: 0x0
/dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s7: CANNOT READ: BLK 6539840
I give root passwd and enter single user mode and run
fsck /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s7
same error comes out and then drops to:
CANNOT READ: BLK 7154832
CONTINUE?
Program Terminated
#
I type exit, then machine continues to boot and does eventually come to the login screen:
Also, when I probe-scsi from the ok prompt, it goes into a loop with 'bus error' running down the screen. It will continue like this until I power down the machine. Any help, suggestions, tips, or ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
