I have what I hope is an easy question....
We have an IBM Xseries 235 server with 3 SCSI 36GB drives in it set up with RAID 5.
What I want to do is install a IDE 200GB drive in it, so I can save my MS SQL database backups to it. IBM told me I could do this if I just hook it up to the same cable the CD Rom is on. I just wanted to make sure it would not cause any problems with the RAID set.

No problems at all, just make sure the master/slave jumper is set correctly or you will not see either IDE drives.
