On my computer at home, my mouse wheel is set to zoom in and out, but on my computer at work it's set to simply scroll up and down. How do I change the settings to make the wheel zoom in and out?

check the "mbuttonpan" setting
mine is 1
you could lookup in the autoCAD help for more info.
This has fixed it for me in the past.

Uninstall the dedicated mouse software

If the mbuttonpan setting does not work and you are using Microsoft Intellipoint software try using the wheel troubleshooter to correct the problem.
I recommend a five button Microsoft Mouse for AutoCAD. Assign Esc and the snap menu to the spare two buttons.
