Does anyone have a script that once determining that a call is abandoned sends the CLID to the CDR? Does the CDR automatically keep CLID of abandoned calls? Please Help!

Once the call is abandoned then all reporting of that call will end.
Can you access the Call-by-Call reporting? This will give you an hours were of info that you can put into an Excel report then you can search each hour for “Abandoned.”

When all else fails.......quit!

1. How do I determine if I have access to "call by call" reporting?

2. Does call by call have CLID for abandoned calls?

3. If I do have access, can you give me a headstart with how I would look for the abandoned calls?
Thanks so much.

4. Is "call by call reporting" , the same thing as the CDR (call detail record); if not can you explain the difference.

Hi

You will need to check that the call by call stats are being collect first this can be achieved by going to the historical statics data in the fat client and check that call by call is tick.

To check that you have access ask the administrator (sysadmin logon user) to check that your user has the rights to look at call by call stats.

The call by call report will display both rthe CLID and the CallID (unique ID for all calls assigned by the switch)

The call by call report has all the details of the call held within it.

i hope this helps

That helps, thank you so much. In the call by call report, do you know what I can expect to find in CALLEVENT, CALLEVENTNAME, and EVENTDATA?

Call Event Name is "Local Call Abandoned". The problem with using this method is that from the Local Call Abandoned line you can take the Call ID. You then need to query this Call ID to find Call Event Name = "Local Call Arrived". The Event Data on this line gives you the CLI. However, because the Call ID is not unique, you will get the CLI for all calls with this Call ID.

scummings, do you have any alternative suggestion to get around the problem of nonunique call id? Thanks in advance.
