I didn't think you needed the colon after lpt1
Also, you have to make sure you have the drivers for that shared printer installed already. If it's a newer printer, Win2k might not have the drivers.
On windows 2000 and Windows XP, use this script:
"rundll32 printui32, PrintUIEntry <option>", put the "/?" for more help after the command. The command is case sensitive.
